Due to rising tensions in the Chernarus area, some NATO member countries have sent peacekeeping troops to suppress the rebel activities in rural Chernarus. Germany is one of them, assisting with a specialized mechanized reconnaissance unit. The rebels have publicly sworn allegiance to the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star. Evidence recently surfaced of a planned attack by the rebels. They are planning to hit multiple important locations, including the power stations that supplies the big cities with electricity. If the whole electricity grid goes down, chaos will ensue. It's the first day of heavy snowing. It's very foggy on lower altitudes, but the weather will clear up in an hour or so.
